Overview

Asset Inventory Webpage was built for the IT department at Peterborough Regional Health Centre Hospital to streamline operational processes and improve access to inventory-related tasks.

System Design

The README provides useful implementation details:

  • an inventory table tracks items, categories, stock levels, and reorder thresholds
  • a log table stores transaction history so stock movement can be audited over time
  • a sendemail table prevents low-stock warning emails from being sent too frequently

Workflow Value

The interface groups items by category and uses stock thresholds to surface attention points visually. When inventory drops below threshold, the system can change stock-state presentation and notify the relevant list by email.
